Netherlands vs USA prediction:-
Christian Pulisic’s game-winning goal against Iran helped the United States advance to the Round of 16, where they will now play the No. 8 team in the world, the Netherlands.
Just once, in 2002, did the United States reach the World Cup quarterfinals, defeating Mexico en route. As a result, they have never defeated a CONCACAF opponent in the World Cup knockout round.
The Netherlands struggled against Senegal and Ecuador, who utilized strong bursts of energy to keep the Dutch on their toes. The U.S. has not yet given up a goal from open play in the tournament. To counter Memphis, however, teenage Cody Gakpo scored three goals in the group stage.
Argentina vs Australia prediction:-
For only the second time in their history, Australia defeated Denmark 1-0 to go to the elimination round. The Socceroos delivered a thorough effort to contain a dismal Danish team that fell far short of expectations.
Argentina scored two goals against a stout Poland in the group stage and had the opportunity to score more, so it is reasonable to expect them to thrash Australia in this match. No of the outcome here, Australia can be proud of their performance in this tournament, while anything less than a convincing victory for Argentina will signal that they have fallen short of expectations.
France vs Poland prediction:-
Although France lost to Tunisia in their Group D finale, they were able to afford to rest practically all of their starters because they had already essentially sewn up the top spot in the group. Overall, the defending champions showed their ability to contend for a repeat, as no team has won two World Cups in a row since 1962.
Even though France lost to Tunisia with their B-team on the field, none of the three group-stage matches provided any sign that Poland could challenge the French. The champions should easily advance now that France’s players are back in action.
England vs Senegal prediction:-
Even if Harry Kane, the Golden Boot winner in 2018, has yet to fully contribute in this year’s competition, Senegal cannot match the firepower of this England team. After the 0-0 tie with the United States, the Three Lions received a lot of criticism, but overall through group stage play, their blend of offensive play and defensive structure has made them genuine tournament challengers.
Japan vs Croatia prediction:-
Belgium shockingly exited the group stage, while Croatia struggled through Group F play but advanced as runners-up to surprise champions Morocco.
Japan ignored their puzzling loss to Costa Rica in favor of shocking Spain and winning Group E, while Germany was eliminated. The Samurai Blue came from behind to upset Germany and Spain, turning 1-0 halftime deficits into 2-1 victory in each case.
Brazil vs South Korea prediction:-
There is no evidence from South Korea’s group stage performance to suggest an upset at this level against this opponent, despite their gutsy effort to pull out a late, dramatic result against a rotated Portugal side.
Brazil’s shooting problems from the Cameroon match will be solved, Neymar or no Neymar. Although South American teams have generally performed poorly in this event, Brazil will represent CONMEBOL in the quarterfinals.
Morocco vs Spain prediction:-
Now put yourself in Morocco. You’ve put in a lot of effort to not only advance to the knockout round but also finish first in your group ahead of both Croatia and Belgium. A joyful environment surrounds you as you celebrate. Spain is your prize for your efforts.
Morocco will now face a difficult opponent as they attempt to imitate what the Samurai Blue did and surprise the European powers as a result of the Group E fluke that placed Japan in the first place and Spain in second.
It will be challenging because Spain has a history of dominating big portions of games, particularly in the opening match against Costa Rica, which they won handily 7-0.
