The 20th edition of the 2025 AFC U-17 Asian Cup is known as the AFC U-17 Championship. The tournaments have almost completed their Group stage match and advanced to reach the 2025 AFC U-17 Asian Cup Knockout Stage, where 3 teams have qualified out of 10 teams.
The Asian Youth Football Championship of Asian is organized by Asian Football Confederation between the 3 April to 20 April 2025. Jeddah and Taif City were selected for the tournaments. Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City Stadium, King Abdullah Sports City Hall Stadium, King Fahd Sports City Stadium, and Okadh Sport Club Stadium are venue of the all the matches.
The top two teams in each group will advance to the Knockout stage and the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup. All the teams are qualified for the quarterfinal stage. From Group A – Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, Group B – Japan, UAE, Group C – Indonesia, South Korea and Group D teams are North Korea and Tajikistan lading in stading points. In the next round, all the qualified teams played for the Head-to-head matches. All the remaining teams will be disqualified from the tournaments.
From the Group A standings, Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia have secured the position in the points table. Indonesia have secured from the Group C. Remaining all the team. Five teams played their last match in the group stage on 11 April 2025.
Japan is the defending champion and the most successful team in the AFC U-17 Asian Cup, having won a record four titles. Nine previous champion teams are represented in the tournament. The participating countries that have won trophies since the tournament’s inception include Saudi Arabia, North Korea, South Korea, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Japan, China, Iran, and Oman.
