The final lineups and schedules for the 2025 USL Championship Season have been released. Both circuits will launch on March 8 and finish the season on October 25. This will be the 15th season of the USL Championship.
The 2025 USL Championship lineup features 24 teams competing across two conferences. The top eight teams from each conference will qualify for the playoff round from November 1 to 3, 2025. The USL Championship Final is Scheduled between November 21 and 23, 2025.
with two 2023 squads dropping out and replaced by new and repeat entrants. Expansion side Rhode Island FC embarks on its inaugural season as a club. At the same time, North Carolina FC returns to the USL Championship after exercising its option to move up from USL League One, where the club played three seasons.
USL Championship is the Division II league under Major League Soccer in the United States.
The USL Championship was established on September 8, 2010, and is owned and operated by the United Soccer League. Orlando City SC holds the record for the most championships, with a total of 24 titles.
