The North, Central America, and Caribbean Association Football Teams represent the 2026 FIFA World Cup CONCACAF Qualifiers for the world’s most prestigious football tournament, the FIFA World Cup. In the 2026 FIFA World Cup CONCACAF Qualification process, three direct slots (as a host) and two inter-confederation playoff slots are available for final tournaments.
The qualification for North, Central America, and the Caribbean(CONCACAF) is scheduled from 22 March 2024 to November 2025. In the 2026 FIFA World Cup CONCACAF Qualification, 32 CONCACAF Qualifiers teams entered the qualification round based on the FIFA rankings of December 2023.
The original format was by CONCACAF on 28 February 2023, following the selection of three host nations and the creation of two inter-confederation playoff formats for the round.
The process will involve three rounds from 22 March 2024 and the final play-off tournament, involving six teams, in November 2025: one each from AFC, CAF, CONMEBOL, and OFC and two from CONCACAF. The 2026 Men’s Soccer World Cup kicks off on Thursday, 11 Jun 2026, and ends on Sun, 19 Jul 2026. It will be jointly hosted by 16 cities in three North American countries: Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
The qualifying competition consists of three rounds for the FIFA World Cup 26 tournament. All 2 FIFA-affiliated Nations football teams from CONCACAF entered the FIFA World Cup 26 tournaments.

Inter-confederation play-offs
The two best runners-up from the third round will join one team. The running team will compete against AFC, CAF, and CONMEBOL, along with two teams from CONCACAF. The winning team will qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
