The German Football Federation (DFB) on Wednesday have confirmed the player performance bonuses for the FIFA World Cup 2018, with no bonuses to be paid if the team falls before the quarter-final stage.
With the present world champion Germany, bidding to go back-to-back at the World Cup, each player of the national team will receive some large payments, up to €350,000 ($411,267) each if they defend their World Cup title in Russia 2018.

The players will earn €75,000 ($115,000) for reaching the final eight, €125,000 ($192,000) for the semis, €150,000 ($230,000) for a third-placed finish and €200,000 ($307,000) for reaching the final.
When Germany became the world champion after winning the 2014 FIFA World Cup final in Brazil, Joachim Loew and his squad received a prize money of €300,000. But this time, DBF announces far more than that.
However this prize money is so high, on the other hand, DFB president Reinhard Grindel said that “You can feel in this team, that the sporting challenge is the main focus and not the economic aspect.
If we win back-to-back for the first time in the history of German football, this would be a title for the eternity and certainly worth a special bonus.
Germany will kick off their FIFA World Cup 2018 defense against Mexico on June 17 in Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium and try to take the trophy back to their home.
