2023 Pan American Games

It will be the nineteenth edition of the 2023 Pan American Games and an international multi-sport event officially scheduled from 20 October 2023 to November 5, 2023. In this tournament, 41 nations will take part the place where it will organize is Santiago, Chile.

The Pan American Games has first raised in the 1932 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, The Latin American who was representative of the International Olympic Committee(IOC) decided that Americans should organize a tournament where all teams will participate from all over worldwide. And the first games were played in 1940 in Buenos Aires.

2023 Pan American Games will host by Santiago with agreeing selected on November 4, 2017. This is going to happen for the first time in history to host the Pan American Games by Santiago. In 1975 and 1987 Santiago was selected but withdrew because of financial and political problems.

For the 2023 Pan American Games, two countries were selected Santiago, Chile, and Buenos Aires, Argentina but in 2017 Buenos Aires withdrew its bid and left Santiago a solo candidate.
