The AFC third round of Asian teams for the Qatar FIFA World Cup will start from 2 September 2021 to 29 March 2022. The process will be involving 4 rounds from 6 June 2019 to mid-2021.
The qualifying competition consists of four rounds for the Qatar world cup tournament. Preliminary round, Qualifying group stage, and Play-offs round.
The 46 FIFA-affiliated nations football teams from Asia entered the qualification round. The matches in round third will start from 2 September. Here we are sharing the list of the qualification teams & the Schedule of matches.
All the qualified teams were divided into two different groups as per their FIFA rank.

Third round Format
There are twelve teams that are entered for the second round and they were divided into two groups of six teams will play home-and-away matches.
The top winner from both groups will be qualified for the Qatar World Cup and the second and third place will go for the advanced fourth round. AFC Main article

The qualification matches were rescheduled from 2020 to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Asia, On 12 August 2020 FIFA announced that upcoming matches will be postponed to September 2021 and be finished by March 2022.
