This World Cup will not be hosted in May, June, or July due to the extreme summer heat in Qatar; instead, it will take place in the northern autumn from late November to mid–December.
All stadiums built during the past three years with the exception of Khalifa International Stadium were done so with the 2022 FIFA World Cup in mind. The Global Sustainability Assessment System has given them all a 5-star grade, and they all have cutting-edge climate control systems to regulate temperature.
A magnificent spectacle is promised by the stadium’s size and design. According to the FIFA website, Lusail’s facade and shape are reminiscent of the elaborate decorative motifs found on bowls and other objects from the Arab and Islamic world’s golden age of art and craftsmanship.

Lusail Iconic Stadium (Lusail)
The Host stadium for the final in 2022 and the centerpiece of Lusail City. It is a proposed FIFA world cup stadium that has been built in Lusail, Qatar. The 80,000-capacity stadium construction contract was awarded in 2017 and it will be expected to open end of 2022.

Al Bayt Stadium (Al Khor)
The stadium was selected for the Opening match venue. The stadium’s construction contract was awarded to Salini and Cimolai in 2015. The 60,000-capacity stadium will be expected to open end of 2019.

Ras Abu Aboud Stadium (Doha)
Ras Abu Aboud Stadium was built in 2016 and is a spectacular host to 2022 FIFA World Cup matches. It will be the first FIFA World Cup venue and one of the most innovative World Cup stadiums.
