Jose Mourinho and Manchester United ready to offer new contracts to the defender Marcos Rojo and goalkeeper David de Gea.
De Gea is playing with Manchester United with a £200,000-a-week deal and he still has next season left on his current deal.
Argentina’s defender Rojo has been one of the club’s outstanding defenders under Jose Mourinho and the coach wants the 27-year-old rewarded with a new deal but his current deal runs until to 2019.
New 5 -year deal for De Gea to be offered by Manchester United
De Gea, who also has 12 months left plus a year’s option, but he would be staying at Old Trafford as Real Madrid is focusing on Thibaut Courtois of Chelsea and Athletic Bilbao’s Kepa Arrizabalaga.
When asked about extending the De Dea’s contract, Mourinho said: “A goalkeeper like he is and a club that wants to be better and better and better, we are not going to let that year option go away.”
De Gea shows his love and gratitude for Manchester United. He saying-“Being part of such a great club like Manchester United fills you with emotion and you gradually realize how much the club means to the fans and the people who work here.
They really live for the game, so that does become part of you and you can only appreciate that having spent time here.”
In August 2015, Manchester United almost lost De Gea to Real Madrid when a fax machine scuppered the deal.
Although Jose Mourinho is hoping the goalkeeper commits his future to the Red Devils, De Gea is concentrating on the weekend’s game.
